This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules thereunder. By using the Platform, you consent to this Policy.
1. Data We Collect
- Identity and contact data: name, mobile number, email address, delivery addresses.
- Order and transaction data: order history, amounts, and payment status. We do NOT store your
full card or UPI credentials; these are handled by our payment partners.
- Location data: pincode and, with your permission, device GPS, used to determine serviceability
and assign the nearest delivery warehouse.
- Device and usage data: device identifiers, app version, IP address, interactions, and
push-notification tokens.
- Health and prescription data (only if you use pharmacy/lab services): prescriptions and test
bookings, treated as sensitive personal data with additional safeguards.
2. How We Use Your Data
To create and operate your account; fulfil and deliver Orders; process payments and refunds; verify prescriptions; provide customer support; send transactional and (with consent) promotional communications; personalise your experience; detect and prevent fraud; and comply with law.
3. Legal Basis and Consent
We process personal data based on your consent and to perform our contract with you. You may withdraw consent for non-essential processing (such as marketing) at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
4. Cookies and Tracking
Our website and app may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, analytics, and (with consent) marketing. You can manage non-essential cookies through the consent banner or your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.
5. Sharing Your Data
We share data only as needed to provide the service, with: payment gateways (e.g. Razorpay); delivery partners; partnered pharmacies and diagnostic labs; and service providers (cloud hosting, SMS/messaging, analytics). We may disclose data where required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Data Storage and Transfers
Your data is stored on secure infrastructure (including AWS data centres). Where data is transferred or processed, we apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, or as required by law (for example, tax and pharmacy record-keeping obligations).
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights (DPDPA)
You have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data, to withdraw consent, to nominate a representative, and to grievance redressal. To exercise these rights, contact our Grievance Officer below. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Marketing and Opt-Out
You can opt out of promotional SMS, WhatsApp, email, or push notifications at any time using the unsubscribe option in the message or your in-app settings. Transactional messages necessary to fulfil your Orders will continue.
11. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data through the app or by contacting support, subject to retention required by law.
12. Children
The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
13. Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party services governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be notified through the Platform.
